Key Job Responsibilities:

  • Land surveyors measure land areas to determine the boundaries of properties and present findings to the relevant agencies/stakeholders. They must record the results of their surveying and establish official land and water boundaries for deeds, leases, and other legal documents. Land surveyors must also provide relevant data that shape and contour the surface of the earth for engineering, mapmaking, and construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the project team in coordinating and handling all scope of work pertaining to survey work at the project site, effectively and efficiently.

  • Preparing and maintaining sketches, maps, and reports of legal descriptions of surveys.

  • Attend meetings and discussions pertaining to survey work as and when required.

  • Ensure that survey instruments are calibrated according to specification.

  • Conduct surveys on land sites and properties.

  • Carry out drafting and computation of survey data accurately and with precision including measurements and calculations conducted at various sites.

  • Prepare survey as-built drawing, record survey-related data, construction setting out, leveling, etc.

  • Examine previous records and evidence to ensure data accuracy.

  • Verifying data and calculations.

  • Recording results of surveys.

  • Calculating the measurements of sites.

  • Writing descriptions of property boundaries

  • To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as instructed by the superior

 

Job Requirement:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying/ Geomatic or related field

  • Experience in the construction industry/industry-related required.

  • At least 5-8 years working experience in this field is an added advantage

  • Ability to meet tight timescales, multi-tasking and have a good positive attitude. Able to work in minimal supervision.

  • Self starter, skilled in problem solving, time management, and being very detail-oriented.

  • Good visualization and excellent physical stamina.

  • Great mathematical and analytical skills.

  • Ability to keep track of multiple projects

  • Effective team leader - must be able to manage survey assistants efficiently

  • Willing to travel within and outside Malaysia as and when required - subject to project’s requirement.

  • Computer literature (Microsoft Excel/Word/Power Point/Autocad and etc.)

 

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Contract length: 12 months

Salary: From RM5,000.00 per month

Education: Bachelor's (Required)

Experience: Land surveying: 3 years (Required)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

  • Kuala Lumpur: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
